How large is the AI model download?
The Basic model (Gemma-3n-E2B) is approximately 3.2 GB. The Advanced model (Gemma-3n-E4B) is approximately 4.3 GB. This is a one-time download over Wi-Fi. After download, all features work completely offline — no further downloads required.
What are the device requirements?
Android 12+, 4 GB RAM, 8 GB storage
Android 13+, 6+ GB RAM, 12+ GB storage
Devices with less than 4 GB RAM may not be able to run the on-device AI models reliably.
The translation seems slow. How can I speed it up?
Translation speed depends on your device's GPU and RAM. Try these steps:
- Close other apps to free up memory
- Switch to the Basic model (Gemma-3n-E2B) — it is faster than the Advanced model
- Restart the app if it has been running for a long time
- Devices with a powerful SoC (e.g., Snapdragon 8 Gen 2+) will see significantly faster results
How does AI chat work?
Beyond translation, you can have full multi-turn conversations with the on-device AI. In the chat mode, type or speak your message and the AI responds locally on your device. You can ask follow-up questions, analyze translated content, request explanations — all without internet access.
Can the AI analyze images or documents?
Yes. Use the image mode to point your camera at or load a photo of any document, sign, menu, or text. The AI will extract, translate, and can analyze the content — all on-device. This is great for understanding foreign documents while traveling, studying, or working.
Can I use the app in airplane mode?
Yes, completely. After the one-time model download, the app works 100% offline. Translation, image OCR, speech recognition, and AI chat all work with no internet connection. You can use it on flights, in areas with no signal, or with mobile data turned off.
How does the free trial work?
You get 24 hours of full access with no credit card required. After the trial, the app switches to freemium mode (approximately 10 AI operations per day). You can upgrade to Pro anytime via Google Play.
How do I cancel my Pro subscription?
Subscriptions are managed entirely through Google Play. To cancel:
